Life’s Purpose

Having worked as a corporate slave for the last seventeen+ years, I’ve finally found the courage to strike out on my own. I’ve started my own company called Dreamchaser Media with the goal in mind to encourage and help people improve themselves, their lives, their relationships, their communities, the world and the universe. I consider it my mission in life to help people shine their inner light and save the world.

I’ve always been interested in everything. I wanted to do it all and have brought both myself and my family much frustration and disappointment in myself because I just couldn’t seem to “be like everyone else” and settle down into doing one thing.

However, after divine intervention sent me to an article about Polymath, I realized that my thirst for learning was a blessing, not a curse. I truly believe in the power of knowledge because knowledge gives us the ability to transform our lives and reach new heights of human achievement.

With Dreamchaser Media, my goal is to show people how to live in a manner that has a positive impact on themselves and the world around them. I’ll be the first to admit that I don’t have a clue how do this but I’m willing to bet that it will be quite a thrill ride learning how.

Current Life Goals

Besides building my business, I am also working on going back to school. Previously, I had thought that I would go back and get a degree in Computer Science but have instead decided to get my degree in Business with a minor in Communications. I also want to take some courses in Publishing as one of my goals for the business is to own a publishing company.

The door is open if you would like to pass on any information regarding good schools and programs I should be looking into. I have no qualms about moving to another state. Ideally, though, I shouldn’t have to donate a few organs in order to afford tuition and I would love to live in a state where the cost of living is reasonable.

More Stuff:

I am a professional writer. In the beginning of my writing career I wrote mostly fiction for personal enjoyment but have moved into the realm of freelance writing. Because of my varied background and thirst for knowledge, I am comfortable writing on a variety of topics such as personal development, marketing, business, management, blogging, web design, writing fiction and various lifestyle topics such as beauty and relationships. I am also the founding editor of the Openlore Fiction Writers Magazine.
